Well, David pointed out last night that it is a week today that I landed in France. I have learned a lot and seen a lot in that short time. I've also walked enough to finally earn my 1000 km. Medal from 2022. I started it in 2022 but when I came back from France that June I developed some difficulties that kept me from continuing. I decided in 2023 I would not open it until I reached 1000 using the start of 2022. Well, yesterday I did it so last night we had a little celebration in honour of the occasion.
Now, we need to go back and see how I accomplished the final since I've been here.
I left you on Sunday when we were expecting Sam and Cheryl for supper. We had chili made by Karen and Lemon something(like a cookie with glaze) made by Sam. Then everyone had to dash off - Sam and Cheryl to a hockey game, David and Karen to a team builder event, and I stayed with the kids.
Monday evening we attended Sam's graduation.
Tuesday morning David took me with him to physio. William is going to work on my shoulder. He read my MRI report, and then did several movements with me to evaluate. Then he gave me some exercises to practice and then do at home. He also gave me some time on the TENS machine. He is going to add some exercises in the pool so I need to get a swimsuit for Friday. He says first it needs to gain some range of motion and then we will work to strengthen it. I am happy to finally get something done with it.
In the afternoon I decided to take the dog for a walk and do some exploring. Therefore, I didn't take the usual paths. I saw some interesting things, connected some dots on my mental map, got lost a bit and my phone died, ended up being gone way too long for the peace of mind for David and Karen. But, I managed to do about 6 km.
Found this lovely waterway with a path down the side.
That little white line near the top is actually a road.
Isn't this car cute. Smaller than a mini.
War monument.

In the evening David had to go to Meylon for school supplies and I went with to get some celebratory treats. So my total for yesterday was 8.26 km.
I can't figure out how to add the video of the presentation, but David did a great job.🥂

Congratulations on your medal. Sounds like you might finally get help for your shoulder. Money still coming in for Hillside. No particular news from R.H. Enjoy yourself.
